This is a powerful turkey lure/call or general sound effect. Recorded entirely on my own equipment, a zoom h8 at 96 khz @ 24-bit encoding for high resolution life-like playback. Background filtered to absolute silence using nch wave pad and mix pad, along with rodecaster pro audio dsw processing.

Okay, this one has a strange story behind it. I don't remember why i was recording, but it was my voice (probably a narration,) and when i listened to it, this sound showed up at the very end. I was the only one home, and i don't remember a sound outside prior to pressing the stop button, but it was there. Weird, random, and unexpected, but neat all the same!.

Clean, dry recording of a roughly half-filled metal can (the ribbed kind used for most canned food - probably steel, tin, or a blend of the two) containing dry oatmeal being shaken. A variety of forces and speeds were used to create a diverse assortment of sounds. Originally recorded specifically for canned oatmeal sounds, but could easily work for shaken cans containing most kinds of tiny, dry granules such as rice, nuts, grains, etc. A metal can was used for the unique, metallic timbre it produces - a glass jar or plastic container would sound different. Skates on ice: here is a very specific sound effect. The metallic slash through ice when it is being skated on. There are multiple variations of this in this track due to the amount of contact the blade of the skate has to the ice and also the force being put into the movement. It is a sharp and cold sound.
